GatherMate2

GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.

GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.

To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage

Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.

You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.

GatherMate2_Data

Unfortunately starting with Legion, both WoWHead and WoWDB do not seem to track the locations of herbs anymore, so an automated way to provide data is currently not possible.

    can we have a new build, please?

    I've updated ruRU translations via localization UI and eagerly waiting for new build to have archaeology digs tracked.

    Localization should be updated here on the website: https://www.wowace.com/addons/gathermate2/localization/

    It'll then automatically show up in the next release version. I've imported the translations you provided now, however.

    Greetings, I'm posting this cause i found some problem whenever i tried to add some Legion herb node to my Database. So i found the problem into the localization, to be more accurate into the translation of Herbalism herb into Italian. So i updated the most of IT file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d4d4kc7zzl34t4e/GatherMate2-itIT.lua

    This should work for Herbalism and Mining (Even the Ancient Mana should be tracked) in Legion. I'll end with the Update soon.

    PS: Whom find some problem like "Addons doesn't show the Herb on the minimap even if i gatherd it right now" for fix it just open the Locals wich matches with your client language and look for the English version of gathered items and just translate it.

    Hey I have an issue on installing/updating gathermate2 after I click install it stops at unzipping and then it says Profile error how can I fix this issue please help.

    You're still missing the Legion Archeology stuff. I added it for myself but I'm sure plenty of people would appreciate to have it.

    Would be nice to get an update to GatherMate2_Data (last updated on Dec 13, 2015) especially when people are directed to install it along with GatherMate2! Heck, even a simple .toc update might give users hope for an actual data update! ;)

    Most likely it is/was missing localization for your language. Check 1.36.3, it includes a list of new translations, otherwise check https://www.wowace.com/addons/gathermate2/localization/ to fill in the information for your language!
