ExtraSpellAlert

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

ExtraSpellAlert extends the new Blizzard Spell Alert functionality in 4.0.1 to allow for extra customization. Type /esa for options.

Features

Allows the filtering of specific events that you do not want to show
Shows additional animations to indicate when a buff has more than one charge left (i.e., Fingers of Frost)
Tints alerts when they are about to expire
Shows text for time left on the buff

Note: The internal spell proc names are not always consistent with the buff names (i.e., "Arcane Missiles Aurastate" is the current internal name for what should be the "Arcane Missiles!" buff). Because this is something on Blizzard's side, I cannot manually fix procs that fall into this category, and thus, they will not work as they should. If you do encounter any problems with specific procs, please let me know which are not working.

Timers are shown for disabled warnings, could this be changed please?

This does not happen all the time, let me explain what I saw:

I was on with my frost mage, so I hid "Arcane Missiles", but when "Arcane Missiles" had procced, as indicated by the buff, "Fingers of Frost" also procced. I had mirrored timers at both sides on the top and one was lower down where the "Arcane Missiles" animation would be and showed remaining time for that.

Maybe it only happens when a hidden and visible animation procs at the same time and with mirrored timers?

That's an interesting bug, thanks for the report. I might not be able to reproduce it, but I'll try something that should hide text in the event it was accidentally triggered.

I have this error :

1x Usage: NewLocale(application, locale[, isDefault[, silent]]): 'silent' must be specified for the first locale registered:
ExtraSpellAlert-v1.1.1\Locale\enUS.lua:1: in main chunk

Any suggestions for me?

I have tried this mod (v1.1.1) with enhancement shaman.
1) Leap of Faith (92572) is not shaman spell, but priest spell. So why I have it in configuration window?
2) Spell overlay is shown for each stack of Maelstrom Weapon instead of showing only when I get all 5 stacks of it. This is very confusing.

Nice addon, any way to add some timer text for the durations of the buffs? if not as a default, maybe as an option? Would that still fit in the scope of your addon?

When I asked for a timer, figured it'd be a fixed text. You went all out and gave it lots of options and it works just perfect. Thank you.
