107 - Elkano Buff Bars unuseable
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type /ebb config to show the bars.
2. Right click a bar.
3. Go to filter.
4. Go to type
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Clicking a type, Buff, debuff, Tench does not result in the check mark changing to the desired type. For instance if click 'Tench' to show flametongue/windfury the check box does not change to reflect that I am showing tench. Flametongue and Windfury show under the bar itself, which is correct, but then it cannot be unchecked for it to be removed once it has already been set.
Another error: Times to do not count down or match the blizzard buff durations.
Another error: I cannot close a bar by clicking on the anchor and selecting 'Close'
Also, when right clicking on the bar group anchor the menu itself continues to expand with each click. Clicking on any menu option (such as Buff, Debuff, Tench) also causes the width of the menu to expand.
What version of the product are you using?
I have tried with 164, 165, 166, 167. I started with the latest release and worked my way down to 164.
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No lua errors were generated

I can hide or show a group from the minimap icon.
I can right click on the anchor. It throws an error, but the menu pops out. However, as soon as I mouseover ANY of the menu items, I get another error, and then no submenus will react to mouse at all.
I've tried unloading all other addons, with only EBB running - same results. On an interesting side note, when I do "/ebb about" the enter key on the keyboard does nothing. It will not show the version, but instead the command line remains open.

I have disabled all other addons, cleared WTC etc. but i can't get it to work.
This is annoying, since as a tank, seeing my own debuffs easily is the most important reason to use EBB for me.

Elkano Jul 28, 2011 at 08:02 UTC - 0 likesUnfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the bug with the filters. My guess would be that something within DewDrop, the library that is used for the menus, is breaking. At least the increasing width is caused by a bug in that lib. The "close" option is only for closing the menu. To close the anchor bar, just disable configuration mode again.
For buffs, the times are working fine here, same for tench. :/ You said you had no Lua errors, are you running BugSack?
