306 - Chat tabs do not highlight on new text
What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- I except to see tabs "flash" when there is any activity in them, but instead they only flash when someone logs in via BattleTag. For example, if I am not using chat (say, I'm questing, and someone types something in guild chat, the guild chat tab does not flash). Is this normal behaviour?
What version of the product are you using?
- R: 1.4.6 for 6.1.0 Mar 03, 2015
Do you have an error log of what happened?
- No error is produced.
Please provide any additional information below.
I would note that I tried using ChatAlerts, an addon that modifies the colours of the chat tab flash, and I only seemed to notice this problem after that. I've contacted him, however, and he says is had nothing to do with his addon so long as it's not running (and it's not).
