i miss you so much…

Is nobody interested to write something similar using another map/notes addon? Something that puts red dots on the map for known objective locations? Using wowheads data? I don't know how to finish Loremaster now without this.

Here is a quick fix for all those asking about the error regarding line 253. I've tried this with my copy and it seems to get rid of the error and not cause any problems with the addon working. To get rid of the error: open QuestLogPatch.lua in the Cartographer_QuestInfo folder. Find line 253 which should look like:

if button and not button:GetText():find("%[.-%]") then

edit it to look like:

if button and button:GetText() and not button:GetText():find("%[.-%]") then

and that should be it.

is there a replacement for this? i miss the part that puts red dots on the mini map for known objective locations

Does this addon have a list of every quest and if you have done it or not?

Kind of like everyquest (which I cant keep working btw)?

Getting an error when I talk to a daily quest giver and hoping one or more of you lua-savvy folks can come up with a fix. I don't think the error does anything other than annoy me so it isn't a critical issue, but a fix would be nice. :)

Does anyone know of another addon that will add the quest level both to the quest log *and* the NPC dialogs? Those two features are the only reason I'm even hanging on to Cartographer at all at this point. I know I'm going to have to wean myself off it before Cataclysm launches. Right now, I get occasional annoying errors when I speak with NPCs, so it's just a matter of time, but for the way I quest, this is a really important feature.

Please Update This add on I love It It needs to be fixed Everytime during the WoW game time I hit the letter "M" and Its opens the map and then behinde the map a message pops up and there Is an error with LUA

I have this enabled with Cartographer Icons and Minimap Coords (and the main Cartographer minus all the other modules), and it works fine with Mapster. At least I think it does. The icons show up where they're supposed to on my map and minimap and I don't get any error messages. :-)

I found this on a forum. It works : I can click on my objectives now ! :)

Wonderful addon, and the main reason for having Cartographer. I really hope this will become a stand alone addon once, or perhaps get to work with other map/notes addons now that Cartographer has become so unstable.

We got the red dots back. Sizing isn't what it was, but the DOTS ARE BACK!!!
