19 - v1.3.11 - Milling issue

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a stack of 5 Snow Lily(s) or a multiple of 5 (I made sure to have only a full stack to exclude the "known issue" with partial stacks)
2. Attempt to mill the Snow Lily either by clicking on the Breakables button bar resource button, or by loading the Milling Spell by clicking the profession button and then clicking the Herb button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The loaded spell cursor when mousing over the herb remains "grey" and clicking the herbs posts an UIErrorsFrame message of "you cannot mill that".

What version of the product are you using?

Do you have an error log of what happened?
There are no Lua errors. Just an UIErrorsFrame text saying "You cannot mill that".
The herb tooltip says "millable" and it is indeed millable by using the Milling spell directly.

Please provide any additional information below.
Milling the stack of Snow Lily by using the Milling spell directly from the spellbook or the actionbars works, just not when using the Breakables bar.
Playing on enGB wow64 windows client.

Marking Declined now that the base UI has a button to auto-combine stacks.

    @Parnic: Go

It does yea, if you put the stack of whole herb in front of the stack of partials it works.

(I had it in my mind to test but forgot until you asked)

Does it matter which one appears first in your bags? I.E. if you move one in front of the other, does the addon's behavior change?

Didn't have time to try fixing it but I'm adding that apparently it affects all partial herbs.
The same issue appears with Fool's Cap and Fool's Cap Spores.

That is indeed odd since the button is targeting a specific bag slot to mill. I'll see if I can get a low-level character out in the Panda starting area to check it out.

edit: oh, apparently it doesn't work that way for non-locked items which makes sense since they can stack up and targeting a specific bag slot may hit a slot with less than 5 in it. I'll see if this API offers a way to match on item id or something.

Ok, minutes after I posted the ticket I debugged the issue.

This is caused by having Snow Lily Petal in the bags.
This "partial" herb is not millable, not sure why Breakables sets that instead of the Snow Lily in the macro.
The button bar shows the Snow Lily tooltip and icon but I can see no other explanation than it somehow tries to cast Milling on Snow Lily Petal instead.

It might be a bug in the secure attributes system and not the addon.
Maybe "target-item" does a greedy match on the name?

Will try to look at it some more later.
