1222 - Link fade of multiple action bars

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

I have 3 actionbars above each other. I'd like to be able to set it up so that when I hover over any of them, they all fade in, and once I'm no longer hovering over any of them they all fade out.

Please provide any additional information below.

There is some code, but its far from actually finished or usable. I should find my design notes and resume working on it, at least the very basics, can get to the real advanced stuff later.

The first idea I had for the UI is simply a dropdown under fading where you can pick a bar who's settings to use, and using this dropdown would disable all other fading settings for that bar.

Of course, then I started to think about how you could expand this to other things (state perhaps), and then things get more complicated.

BartenderAdvanced sounds even better; not having to bother with multiple bars that have to behave the same would be preferable. Is this something you ever seriously started on? As in, is there code I could play around with?

Implementing this in itself isn't all that hard, setting up a proper UI for this would be the real challenge to let users "link" bars.

Maybe I should finish BartenderAdvanced one day, which would let you create one giant bar with all 36 action buttons of those 3 bars, which would of course fade as one then.

For those interested: I have managed to get this behavior using a bit of custom LUA. This is not guaranteed to keep working between upgrades, your mileage may vary, etc, etc.
