About

AtlasMajorCities is a plugin for Atlas (by Dan Gilbert) that add the possibility to browse the
Major Cities maps with almost every Non-playing characters (NPCs) that you can interact with.
It also include an advanced search function.

How to Install

You must have installed Atlas to get this Work.
Unzip the package into: World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/
Your zip software must preserve directory structures.

This version isnt. Try AMC Enh. link is at the top of the description. But the Author has not updates his version since may.

hi there , i am wondering if some of the maps will be updated for cata ? , like just on the top of my head like darnassus has the new worgen tree with npc's and all that :)

can i get an estimated time of update for this? allowing it to loadwith out of date addons, results in a blank window (no map at all) when you choose the cities dropdown from the locale..

it's on the way, actually just a TOC update will be enough. As for the problem you mentioned, you need to update Atlas to 1.17.2 and AtlasLoot to 5.11.07 to resolve the problem.

i tried to edit with notepad but i couldn't find the line mentioned. then i downloaded vim editor but line 375 looks nothing like the one you mention. can you give me more advice?

You find nothing because in the latest atlas its the line 626 and there its already fixxed ;)

to fix the Problem:

Search in the Atlas\Atlas.lua the Line (Should be Line 375)

{ "AtlasMajorCities", "v1.5a" },

and Change it to

{ "AtlasMajorCities", "v1.5.2" },

The Problem is nit AMC, the problem is Atlas itself, because Atlas thinks a 1.5a is newer than a 1.5.2 it throws the error.

The new version does not work. On load, I get a popup telling me that one of the Atlas modules is outdated and therefore, DISABLED on this character. Restoring R86 fixed the problem. Today's release apparently is incompatible with the present version of Atlas.

Also. . . CAN YOU PLEASE make Atlas options UNIVERSAL per account? Resetting the scale of the browser on every single toon is a giant PITA.

making the Atlas options to be universal has been discussed in Atlas forum. Some people want options to be per character, some want universal. You may go to Atlas forum to find more info.

I have an error pop up, and I think it stems from MajorCities (I've had this for well over a year now...course, I only had it for a few months last summer before my PC broke for a year...) But rehgardless, I noticed it always mentions AtlasMajorCities...Now, I've never officially reported debug issues so I'm curious...where exactly do I go to post this debug list?

With Shaun's help, the problem is in LibBabble-NPC-Description-3.0.
As the library will automatically lookup the localized translation, I am not able to detect this problem earlier, sorry for the trouble.
As a temporary workaround, you may try manually replace the LibBabble-NPC-Description with the latest version.
