i have this kind of error and cant get rid of it - need help
LOVE this addon. It's very excellent!
Just missing three minor interface thingies that would make this even more perfect:
- The ability to lock the window into place so it can't accidentally be moved/resized. Preferably locked to background even.
- An option to let the height of the window automatically adjust to the amount of records. (for people like me who likes background with 0% opacity, don't want to click on what I can't see)
- An option so it can hide itself when not in a party/raid. (tho muchly loving the 'hide in combat feature')

Just wanted to bring somewhat of a bug to your attention. If you're a hunter, with a pet that has the same name as you (the hunter); recount seems to glitch and exclude the hunter's, and the pet's damage entirely.

The one thing I miss, having switched from Damage Meters to Recount, is a 'pause data collection' option/button. Sometimes I want to keep a group/raid's data even though I then go about the place soloing some stuff.
Duh, never mind, I see that's what the 'Global Data Collection' button seems to be for. Badly named IMO. 'Pause Data Collection' with it ticked would be better.
Ok, I liked, there's another thing I miss. The ability to save and swap a set of data, separate from the live data.

Yea, also love this mod, but it would definately be nice to be able to save off the data so it could be reviewed at a later date. Comparisons between two saved events would also be cool, to track how people are progressing, but that's probably asking a bit much.

A few odd glitches
As was brought up earlier (with a slight modification), recount has an issue with recording data when a hunter's pet shares the same name as ANYONE in the raid. Had a hunter who's pet was named after one of the rogues. The first raid they shared, Recount seemed to randomly split the information (the rogue bar, colored yellow, had the <hunter name> tag on the bar, the pet's bar did NOT have the <hunter name> tag. The rogue had "claw" among her attacks listed, and the cat/pet had poisoning skills, as well as evisterate and envenom), and then compounded on the problem by adding the damage of BOTH to the Hunter's overall DPS and damage contributions (the hunter was accredited with pumping out over 1300 DPS). The second raid they shared, recount refused to record any data for either rogue or pet for the first two hours, then randomly recorded roughly 8000 damage during a boss fight, then stopped recording data again.
Recount also seems to have issues recording Totem damage with Shaman. It seems to do relatively well assigning weapon-buff damage to the right person (ie: Windfury attacks) but unless it's hiding very well, I can't find the damage information for the direct-damage totems (ie: Searing Totem, Fire Nova Totem, etc) or the summoned elementals. It doesn't seem to have difficulty dealing with Frost-mage's Water Elemental's damage, but the damage totems seem to be completely ignored.
While I really like Recount for the information it provides, regarding attacks themselves, as a damage meter, it's just as unreliable as any other damage meter I've tried, and wouldn't trust it's numbers as being accurate.
FPS Graph No Longer Displays Data
Since Blizzard released Patch 2.4 and I installed r66203 I am no longer seeing real-time FPS data being graphed. Does anyone else have this issue?
Recount 2.4 Graphic Error
Ever since I loaded the new Recount compatible with the 2.4 patch it has this graphic error. When it loads the tool tips overlap the text. It cannot be fixed by the size of the window either. For example you have "Healing Done" all the tabs like Config, Report, etc.. all overlap ontop of "healing Done" and the only way to prevent this is to not show all the tool tips.
Does anyone else have this problem? I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

Deaths
Recount does not seem to record deaths. I've talked to a couple guild members, and we are all having this issue. I've got 'record deaths' checked for everything except pets - but when I go to the deaths page, nothing shows up.
Anyone know why? Is there another setting I'm missing?
