Questions about Cartographer
I am using Cartographer very happily. I just have one problem, yes, one problem alone. When I hover over the map icon, a magnified and distorted map comes up. That's only on hover. If I press the button, them the cartographer map replacement comes up nicely.
How to disable that "hover over" magnification? TIA!
I am having a problem with: 2 things I had to disable the mini map icon because when ever I put my mouse over it it would blow the map up to full screen then once i removed it it would shrink is there away to turn that off and keep the icon?
More importantly All the mouse commands do not work. I can't right click or left click or anything on the map. What would cause this? how can I fix it. I am using the complete collection of cart. mods. and many others BUT i turned the other mad addons off to prevent problems and still it does not allow me to zoom in or out via mouse,
I'm not completely sure i haven't missed something obvious, but at least two versions (r50120 and r49736) have given me the same error. In spite of having a copy of Dewdrop2.0 in the addons/cartographer/libs folder, when I load into WoW, the addon says it can't find a copy of Dewdrop2.0 - any ideas? Thanks in advance! Drulla, SWC
Having problems installing
Can anyone tell me how to install this addon? I placed it and then extracted it into the WOW Interface/Addon file, but it will not come up in the game.
Thanks
Lags with Cartographer
Hello,
I have installed the acutal release Version but when I active the Cartographer Addon there are Lags every 5 sec. My frame goes down from 60fps to 8fps. And it is only the carthographer which make this problem. I deactive all other addons and load only carthogrpaher. When I disable it, there will be no lags.
I have this problem since wedensday and there will be no differences when i try the beta version. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?
I'm sory if there are some mistakes, but englisch is not my native language.
with kind regards
Tari

Missing vendor(s) from database?
I found a vendor in Azshara (45, 90) that doesn't seem to be in the vendor database (my current version: 51995.7). Name is Blimo Gadgetspring, Trade Supplier. If I find others I'll post 'em in here.
Found another in Swamp of Sorrows (25, 31). Name is Masat T'andr, Superior Leatherworker.
Simple question about updating Cartographer
Admitted total noob - I tried addons (actually, just Cartographer) for the first time in 2.3. Now I want to update - but it occurs to me that if I do, I'm going to lose all my little notes and map icons that I've so carefully placed, as well as my herbalism nodes.
I've searched for Cartographer FAQs (this Ace page leads to a random message, but no FAQ: http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Cartographer/FAQ), I've read forums - everyone is talking about bugs, but no one walks through the actual update.
And for all those who will flame me with using Ace updater, I've read enough horror stories to believe I ought to update my single addon by myself.
So can anyone give me some guidance? Is there a folder I need to save? Thanks. A useful FAQ would be a start; going beyond how to install addons, but actually how to update them would be another.
- You shouldn't lose anything, unless you're making a huge change (like an antique steampunk version to a modern one). To back things up, you can copy anything with 'cartographer' in the name into a zip file, making sure you make a note of where they came from. I've been using the updater and had no problems with it. --Azaram 21:43, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
Toggle routes?
Is there an easier way to toggle the routes than to have to wade through the full configuration menu and disable it? A keybinding would be favorite. The ability to hide the minimap and world map icons would be nice too, they clutter things up severely if I'm not actually looking for them at the time. --Azaram 09:47, 2 April 2008 (EDT)
