Sunn's Viewport Art allows you to change the size of the rendered world area (viewport) and adds textured artwork in the non-rendered areas.

Contents

Usage

Configure the viewport and artwork options using the Minimap icon or FuBar.

Use /sunnart (or /sunn or /sa) for options

Keybindings

Bind a key in the wow options to show/hide the UI and SunnArt graphics

Art Packs

Art packs are optional and should be installed as if they were separate addons (although they are useless without the SunnArt addon).

Extract the zipped folder into your interface/addons folder for it to function.

Previews of the artwork in the packs are available in the screenshots on this page.

Custom Artwork

It's not difficult to create your own artwork if you have the right tools:

- Resize your artwork to 1536*256 (3072x512 for really high resolution images) - Divide your artwork into 3 similar sized panels, left, centre and right, each with dimensions 128, 256, 512 or 1024 etc (these are the only dimensions that WoW will support). - Save each panel as (or convert them to) Targa (.tga) format and replace any files in any artpack you like.

eg. you can replace the royal theme by saving your artwork panels as royal1.tga (left panel), royal2.tga (centre panel) and royal3.tga (right panel). place these files in the SunnArt folder and Bob's your auntie - Royal theme now displays your own artwork.

SunnArt fully supports transparencies, I just haven't found a use for it in my own artpacks.

Submitting Artwork

If you have artwork that you would like to submit for Art Pack 5 and onward, please mail it to sunnart@uksf.com and if I like it then I will include it in the next release.
