Grid Guide

Grid offers some very useful and unique features in a clean, compact design that doesn't take up too much real estate on your screen. As a Healer, that's pretty important, since you tend to have more player frames on your screen in a raid environment. However, Grid is equally useful in group environment.

GRID SETUP

First, you should see an icon on your mini-map after install. It's a colorful grid button. Right clicking it will open the configuration panel.

Frame: Edit Indicators (how and where spell icons will appear on the grid)

Layout: Edit view preferences for group, raid, and change the layout of the Grid.

Status: Set Indicator priority, assign range thresholds, and edit the Indicator colors.

Indicators Menu

Indicators are the icons, dots, and colors that represent spells in Grid. This includes things like icons for buffs and debuffs, such as Power Word: Shield, Renew, or Curses. In this menu, you can modify how it is displayed on your grid. Here is a list of options of where on the Grid you can display these indicators. These features will apply for each individual unit. Each of these options has it's own menu. All menus are the same for each of the Indicator options.

All 4 Corners: Spells and/or debuffs acitve on a unity are indicated by dots in the corners.

Frame Alpha: This is the transparent background of the units box. It will indicate any spells and/or debuffs on the unit.

Here you can modify how Grid displays on your screen.

This menu is pretty self explanatory as you can see from the pictures.

Status Menu

The Status menu allows you to modify the properties of the Indicators. That includes: color, priority, range, and any filters. Here, you can set thresholds for each spell. Also, you can create custom buffs and debuffs.

As with the Indicator menu, you will find a menu listing with all spells, buffs, and debuffs. You simply select which one you want to modify, and you will be able to change the properties of each one individually.
