XLoot

8 - XLoot: Undesired frame positioning and behavior

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install XLoot, XLootGroup, and XLootMaster
2. Reposition the standard loot frame towards the left of the screen, a little below the center
3. Lock the frame
4. Loot a mob with multiple items

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that as I loot items, the frame will shrink only from the bottom up, not squeeze in at both the top and bottom.  There doesn't seem to be an option for this, and when I try to modify the layout-local.txt file it never seems to save the setting properly after I enter/exit the game.

What version of the product are you using?
0.9-30000-2

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No

I hear ya.  Thanks for the quick reply.

It's interesting though, because if I go and modify my layout-local.txt file and change the following:

    Frame: XLootFrame
    FrameLevel: 5
    Anchor: LEFT
    X: 80
    Y: -168
    W: 222
    H: 58

    ... to...

    Frame: XLootFrame
    FrameLevel: 5
    Anchor: TOPLEFT
    X: 80
    Y: -168
    W: 222
    H: 58

... then it will behave correctly when I log in.  The loot window will not be where I want it to be, but it will collapse from the bottom only as I loot items.  It's just, when I then try to move the window back down to where I want it, it seems to automatically revert back to the "left" anchor and start collapsing from both the top and bottom again.  Arg.

Anyway, I understand about not wanting to go back to it again.  For what it's worth, I think it's really an awesome addon.  :)

    Thanks again.

Waiting on either Dridzt or Mikk, or until I can force myself to touch XLoot again.

This isn't really a bug, more the way the snapping works. I'm likely going to remove the collapsing altogether if I touch it again (As I always say...)
