I've made some Aura boxes for my Buffs and Debuffs.. but I can only get them to show when I target something or are in combat!? Even when visibility are Always show
1. To see your mana use Power provider
2. Use anchoring feature (anchor to other frames, that way you'll need to manually position only few frames)
3. See Text frames
Your addon looks really powerful, but I think I might be missing something here. I've got all the Underhood_ directories within wow's Addons dir, but I can't figure out how to enable just a normal mana bar (I'm a mage, so Druid Mana doesn't help or do the same thing).
Also, is there not some way to click and drags the bars around the UI to where I want them, without having to only manipulate the X/Y coords (which can be quite tricky to get just right).
In addition, how does one display the text of the health/mana bar too?
As I say, I must be missing something here. I get into the UH configuration by doing /uh.
Uh. OKay. I put them in the folder already, when I type /uh in the text box the settings pop up, but the bars do not. I already put the addon in the addon folder I couldn't find the "UnderHood_*" folder though.
@ExcellentGoat: Please make sure that you have UnderHood_* folders inside your AddOns folder. Then make sure that UnderHood_* addons are enabled in game.
Hey Anadale. I've seen the pictures and read the testimonials for you addon, and decided to switch from Metahud to yours. I'm having a bit of a problem: I use a Mac, and when I transfer the downloaded files and place them in the addon folder, nothing shows up in game. I do know that Mac users must remove the contents of the folder and when I type in /uh the settins appear, but I cant see any bars. What can I do to fix this?
Hello Anadale. Just wanted to stop by and tell you that your latest version with the ability to hide outlines as well as turn on tooltips is approaching perfection. You have built an extremely versatile mod. I have been a HUD user for 3 years now, and this is by far the smoothest, cleanest UI I have had the pleasure of using. Keep up the fine work.
The new feature for hiding borders is really nice - in theory. Unfortunately it doesn't persist through /reloadui or relogging. :-/
And yes, everything else does.
@astrocanis: Hmm, I have no idea why is that... It looks like you have to delete UnderHood.lua in your SavedVariables folder and create layout from scratch :(
For some reason, today I logged in (on my Mac) and all my configurations were empty. I could not restore them, nor could I create new ones. When I tried to create a frame (by adding the name and then pressing Save), nothing happened. The frames simply never showed up in either "By Name" or "By Type".
@GalenHeavell: Select "Custom" category and you'll be able to enter your own DogTag sequence
@diewolf: I hope so, I was out of country for two weeks so wasn't able to spend much time on UH :(
Is there a reason I cannot edit the dogtags for any of the text items? I would even settle for an option to add my own manually. This is the best mode i have seen in a while, and that would top it all off.

Anadale I don't know that I must do with this :
"local frame = UnderHood:GetFrame( "PlayerHealth" ).frame"
¿ Where I must search it ?
Thanks
/cheers! Kogasu
What a dummy!
And still there is no way to create castbar that appears only during casting cause combat alpha setting overrides cast alpha setting in combat :(
