Rarity not tracking anything #530

    • Any other information you consider relevant or helpful in solving the problem (Screenshots, expected behaviour, things you already tried to fix the issue...)

    Addon version: Rarity-r727-release.zip; 10.2.0

    Restarted the game many times, reinstalled the addon

    No Lua/script Errors

     

    Reinstalled my game last week. Installed also all my addons including rarity. Did not copy or save any wtf-folder or anything else. Just a normal game reinstall. Its like me and my game are new to rarity. Unfortunately it does not count anything. No attempts on any mounts, toys or fishing. It did count everything before. Also no announces in chat from anything. Seems like I dont have the addon at all.

     

    Tried with:

    Mounts
    - Breezebiter, open world Azur Span, did count and announce def before

    - Experiment 12B, Raid Dragonsoul, did count and annouce def before

     

    Pets

    did not try yet, cause I have almost every pet already which u can drop from any rares or smth like that, could try this if needed, dont think it would change anything

     

    Toys

    Fandral's Seed Puch, Raid Firelands, did count and announce def before

     

    Fishing

    Great Sea Ray, Fishing in Zuldazar or Kul Tiras, did count and annouce def before

     

    So I had no issues before reinstalling, everything worked just fine. I do not care about the lost progress for some things aswell. I know the for till now needed attempts on some things, and would add them manually, which I also did on some things in rarity, did not change anything tho. I did not log through all my alts, cause I do not think this would change something aswell. Dont know what else I should try. Please help, otherwise I have to deinstall the addon, which would be very sad. Thanks in advance.

    First off all you should make sure that the addon is actually loaded successfully:

     

    * If typing /rarity works and opens the UI, it might be that your output channel settings are invalid and all addon messages are "silenced"

    * In that case, go to the General options, scroll down, and select an output channel (like /say or the default chat frame)

    * Otherwise, an error may have occurred that prevented Rarity from loading - enable script errors and try to get the error message

    Since a settings issue seems the most likely, you could also try to restore your WTF/<...>/Rarity.lua (saved variables) file if possible.
