Many of us strive for a symmetric UI. Currently we have layout-mirroring options and the ability to reverse the direction a bar depletes in.

Being able to set a bar so that it shrinks towards its center, instead of to either of its ends, would be terrific.

To clarify, a bar with this setting chosen when showing a value of 98%, would appear to be missing 1% from the left end and 1% from its right end.

I can't imagine how this would be useful. It'd be downright difficult to look at a glean useful information.

I've often wished for this type of status bar, especially for rogue and cat druid Power, and for hunter pet Focus. It might also be a useful visualization for Rage and Runic Power.

Part of the reason I feel it would be useful in these instances is because small amounts of power are more difficult to distinguish when they are at one end of the bar or the other.

I'm ambivalent though if I would want this feature as part of PitBull. Sure, it would be something no one else currently has, but it would require extra work to implement. That work is probably needed more right now in areas of the addon that more people will actually use.
