*** Overview - Describe the feature from an end-user perspective.
Many characters play a main character (their favorite or best-geared character) as well as one or more alternate (alt) characters. A player will sometimes join a raid (often in a guild environment) with his or her alt character. The problem with this scenario is that the tracked data records data for the alt character name rather than the player's main character name. It would be nice if HeadCount could track player aliases to automatic use the player's main character name regards of what character they are using (main or alt).

Qwksilver Mon, 12 Jan 2009 22:54:05the eqdkp and i will imagine other dkp sites supported by headcount can already do two things. merge dkp from "minionbob" to "bob", or set up an import "alias" ie minionbob=bob and do the merge with the import, the mod doesn't need the function too

Alt tracking would be nice, but EQdkp CTRT Import configuration already contains functionality to define alt players.
