GridAutoFrameSize
Features:
- Automatically resizes frame layout depending on group/raid size.
- Adjusts frame size as predefined for each zone. e.g. 10 for normal Naxxramas, 25 for heroic Naxxramas, 15 for Eye of the Storm.
- You can set, which strategy will be used in options.
- You can choose between normal layouts and layouts with pets.
- Pet layouts can be used either all the time, or just when your pet is active.
FAQ:
- Where can I find the configuration options?
- It's part of the Grid configuration dialog, that you can access with '/grid' command.
Localization:
If you'd like to add/update localizations, do so here. Then leave a comment here on wowace or on Curse as I'm checking those more often than localization app itself, and I'll repack it.
Bugs / Suggestions:
If you have encountered any problem, or if you think theres something missing. Feel free to post a ticket here.

Posted Dec 19, 2012from Grid r1559 changelog: - Added a 40-player raid layout since GetInstanceInfo() can now identify such instances
This addon might possibly need to be updated to support that? (did not log in and test yet :)

Posted Aug 19, 2012having some issues with this in battlegrounds lately. sometimes in any bg it will only show the group i'm in, and size itself to 1 group (plus 2nd column for pets). other times i'll get into a wsg or ab or something other than 40 man and it will size to 40man and never change, even if i reload ui.
is there a command for me to use that will tell gfas to re-scan the raid or identify the bg and resize itself appropriately? thanks!

Posted Feb 21, 2011I use Pitbull unitframes for the 10/15 man raids/bg's, but for the 25/40 man things i use Grid, takes less space etc. For PVE stuff it is easy to config this, but for BG's Grid only has 1 checkbox. Hence i have the problem that in 10/10 man BG's i have both Pitbull ánd Grid showing up.
I was hoping this addon could be the solution to that, maybe you can tell my how to config it so things work..?

Posted Nov 18, 2010Joined a group, it got converted to a raid and people began to be moved around groups. Grid did not resize to show me those groups until I opened the config menu and unchecked and rechecked "Always use pet layouts". What I was talking about in my first comment was when the raid physically got to 11+ members it would auto fix itself.
I relogged and when I came back in it was still only showing 10 man size. Unchecked and rechecked and "Always use pet layouts" and it fixed.
It seems like it's defaulting to Grid's default layout settings which were the pre-defined "10-man" and all without pets. Isn't the idea of this overwrite them? (I seem to remember having this problem in the past and changing the layout sizes all to 25w/pets seemed to fix it, but I'm still confused as to why it does this.)

Posted Jul 9, 2010I've installed this addon but I can't find a way to make it resizing grid. Whatever I do in the options, my grid keep the same size. I don't care about using the localisation stuff (but I've tried using it), I'd just like to have grid resized depending of the size of my raid. Do you have an idea of what I did wrong?
Thanks for your attention,
Oz.
