Opera 9.64 doesn't have any rounded corners under XP SP3. And since the transition I didn't get any update from the Latest [xxx_addon] Files RSS feeds; the last one in Google Reader is the notification about Grid r1196. edit: but I don't have any problem with scrolling :)

    I'll try testing under FF3 3.5 under Win7 x64 tonight.

@HunterZ, I've tested it in chrome on XP and didn't have any issues with it there, IE8 won't render the rounded corners at all.

And we've also tested FF3 on other OS's and not had any issues. I gave a check on FF3.5 on XP and it was still there :( & Adminstrator

May I ask what web browser and/or OS are you optimizing for that is not resulting in choppy scrolling?

Also, what themes do and do not have rounded corners? (edit: made my own lol)

The Choppy scrolling on XP with firefox3 seems to be related to how they render the rounded corners.

We're going to explore a fix or a degraded solution for ff3. In the meantime switching to a theme that doesn't have them should vastly improve that symptom.

Getting the slow/choppy scrolling on pages with user comments (like this one) in Firefox 3.0.10 and 3.0.11 on WinXP 32-bit. I'm using Adblock Plus and NoScript extensions if that makes a difference.

Edit: Disabled those plugins and restarted - still just as choppy.

Looks like you fired anyone who even slightly resembled a graphic/web designer before making the new theme. One of the ugliest things I've ever seen on the web - and as a professional web designer, I've seen a lot. Not to be mean - but it's called for. Terrible job. The old design, even with it's flaws, was 500% better.

BTW, about the only "Web 2.0" thing you managed to do was the larger font size for certain elements. Not there by a long shot. Take a glance at any true Web 2.0 site and/or hire a real designer.
