JavaScript will let you do some fun things with the page elements, so I think it is worth allowing, especially on WowAce (I think the people running this site are fairly trust-worthy ;-)).
I'm using Firefox with some Security Plugins and in my standard configutation almost everything is forbidden, even Cookies. And as long as my favorite websites (like curse.com or wowace.com) working fine with these settings I don't change it. But, since I know and trust this website I've enabled Cookies and most of the other needfull scripts which let me stayed logged in. ;-)
And, like ckknight said - what ads? I'd never saw some here.

moonwitch Thu, 26 Feb 2009 02:36:18I think Phanx is talking about a few other sites, for which I did end up disabling JavaScript. I will not play PartyPoker.

ckknight Mon, 16 Feb 2009 21:19:15Phanx, that's irrelevant with respect to javascript. If you disable javascript, we make it work with CSS.

Phanx Sun, 15 Feb 2009 00:11:33Mouseover popup menus are quite annoying (imo). :P

ckknight Sat, 14 Feb 2009 17:09:31I made this poll.
I'm mostly curious about the results. We don't do anything bad (imo) or annoying with Javascript, just things to increase some functionality.
