How to queue for an Addon Author Cataclysm Beta key

As promised the system for requesting a Beta key is in place.

If you are an author on WowAce.com, order your key here.
If you are an author on CurseForge.com, order your key here.

We'll be getting keys out to people as soon as we can, and just a reminder you must be an active WoW author to receive one of these keys. We'll be manually verifying eligibility as well.

Note: if you see a message about and error when placing your order, please just try again.

Going forward, anyone who wants to sign up for a key must have a certain minimum threshold for the popularity of their addons in order to be approved. We'll be using the same metrics as we do for the rewards program for this, although you don't have to be signed up for the rewards program to be considered.

We are leaving it open to new users, however, by default you'll have to wait until your addon reaches the threshold of popularity before you're eligible. Also, at this point we're leaving the giveaway open to team members on addons, not just the manager.

Update to the update: It turns out that at least some US players are _also_ having the issue redeeming keys. I'm going to keep handing them out though as I've been told that they should work in the near future.

    I've been waiting for over 3 weeks now. I'm fairly certain I meet any requirements, and I know people have gotten keys since I ordered mine. Could we get an update on if Curse is still getting keys, and what requirements we need to meet for one?

    Yeah, i'm waiting too for a long time (since aug 9) :S I would like to update my guild's DKP addon before Cata release...

    i have been waiting for a month so the rest of you can wait too. if you see what order number you are you can tell how long its gunna take and i have been doin everything i can to get one. all in vain =(. but just gunan patiently wait and hopefully i can get the key before the game is released xD

    I keep getting "An error has occurred" message when trying to activate the key (in Add Game thing on battle.net account management). Also I've found some old form for getting into beta's on worldofwarcraft.com, but it requires one more digit in the code, so I assume that form is not about Cata.

    EDIT: nvm, I found Beta on Game Download page, will see how it works.

    I can understand that, but since i ordered it late (like 2 months after they first announced the beta and even now when the PTR are up), the line shouldn't be that long... right? :)

    It took me over a month to get a key, Dajova... partly because my addon isn't all that popular, and the rate Blizz handed out keys to Curse. You may have a bit of a wait ahead of you, since your addon on Curse is relatively new with a low rate of downloads per day (like mine).

    About how long time does it usually take for placing the order to actually receive the key? Been w8ing almost a week now :)
