For the last two years we've been working on a new platform to power CurseForge. In March 2014 we debuted the platform to support WildStar. In May 2014 we added Kerbal Space Program and then shortly after migrated Minecraft to the new platform.
Since then, we've been frantically working to add new features to support the new experiences, as well as the features that were still missing from the legacy platform. The time has now come to show the hard won fruits of the last two years of labor to our World of Warcraft authors.
To that end we're launching beta sites for both WowAce and WoW CurseForge. While we're very happy with the platform, we need your help with trying to break things, finding things we've missed, or giving feedback on some of the changes we've made.
There are two important things to know: While these sites are more or less feature complete when compared to the existing sites the one major feature that's still to be launched is repositories. This feature is forthcoming and will be enabled in the upcoming weeks. Secondly, these sites are not truly live. Any projects created, changed, updated, or the like will not synchronize to either Curse.com or the Client.
We're expecting to leave the beta sites up for several weeks. During the testing period, please use this forum for discussions, bug reports, and general feedback. At the end of the beta test we'll be wiping out everything on the new platform and reimporting the legacy sites.
We hope you enjoy the new sites, and we can't wait to hear your feedback!

We're co-hosting the (mostly) annual WoW UI Community Dinner again! Please come and join us and our friends over at WoWInterface for a night of good fun, good food, and good friends.
We will be revisiting the PF Changes near the convention center Thursday, Nov 6, at 9pm local time. Space will be limited, so please RSVP soon. You can either leave a comment here, or send a PM using this link if you don't have an account over there.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for another great Blizzcon!

We're glad to announce that we can now offer beta access for addon authors!
To request beta access you need to PM using this link. This PM must contain your battle net email address. This email address will only be shared with Blizzard and will not be used for any other purpose.
Note: This giveaway is for addon authors. You must have a valid WoW addon on CurseForge or WowAce in order to be approved. We send the addresses to Blizzard every Friday; it is then a matter of waiting for them to activate the accounts. We have no timeframe on how often they do this.

If you are in the beta, you can start uploading your addons now and players can start downloading them from Curse.com as well as through the client.
Hosting your addon has never been easier on the new CurseForge platform. We have streamlined the tools and really strived to create a better platform specific to your needs. The original CurseForge was created by addon authors, for addon authors, and we’re happy to say that it hasn’t changed.
As many of you know, not only do your addons show up on Curse.com, you can also manage all your addons through the Curse Client. We’ll keep your addons up-to-date, and we’ll even backup your addon settings to the cloud.
We hope you enjoy the new look of CurseForge. We’ll be migrating our older CurseForge sites over to the new platform as time goes on and we are happy to take your feedback on what we can do to make this platform even better going forward.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for our Author Rewards Platform if you plan on hosting a WildStar addon. As people download your addon, you will build up points and you can then turn those points into Amazon gift cards or even direct PayPal deposits.
To learn more about WildStar including newly released info like the release date, Warplots, pre-order, and more, head on over to WildStarForums.com where you can sign-in with your Curse account and participate in the beta discussion that is about to unfold.
And it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t thank the developers who brought us this game we all find so fascinating, so a big thank you to Carbine! Again, if you have any questions concerning the site or have any feedback, use the comment section below and we’ll be quick to answer them. Thanks!
