It would be wonderful if we could arrange the groups so that they stuck to each other. When Yatba is unlocked, we should be able to drag the groups around, and they could snap to other groups to signal that they have been anchored. It might be desirable to use a different color for groups that are anchored to their neighbours, for easy identification.

The purpose of this is so that (de)buffs can be filtered into different bar groups for coloring and other formatting purposes. But with anchoring, we can make all of these still appear as though they all belong to the same group. They will all flow from the same point on the screen, there won't be gaps between the bars and they won't overlap.

Groups could snap to each other on all sides, but actual anchoring should only occur for the tops and bottoms of groups.

This is a feature in ElkBuffBars, and I believe the default settings for this addon make use of this. It's entirely likely I haven't been clear, so the easiest way to see what I'm talking about would be to check out EBB. :)
