72 - Locks game when whispering during combat

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. enable WIM
2. start combat (solo, party, or raid, doesn't matter)
3. send or receive a whisper

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the whisper to go into the WIM frame or show up as an unwindowed whisper (or both.) What actually happens is that the game locks up and I have to end the program to get it back. I am not being disconnected (people tell me I'm still there up until the time I end the game program, when they see me log out) but the game is completely frozen. I'm a guildmaster, so I get A LOT of whispers, especially during raids.

What version of the product are you using?
3.3.4

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No log possible, unfortunately, as ending the game program is the only way to unfreeze it.

Please provide any additional information below.
Possibly a bad reaction to one of my other addons, but hard to tell which one.
