WeakAuras
WeakAuras is a powerful and flexible framework that allows you to display highly customizable graphics on your screen to indicate buffs, debuffs, and a whole host of similar types of information. It was originally meant to be a lightweight replacement for Power Auras, but it now incorporates many features that Power Auras does not, while still remaining more efficient and easy to use.
Features include:
- An intuitive and powerful configuration interface
- Custom textures including all textures from Power Auras and the new Cataclysm spell alerts
- Progress bars and textures that show the exact duration of auras
- Displays based on auras, health, power (mana, rage, soul shards, holy power, etc.), cooldowns, combat events, runes, totems, items, and many other triggers
- Preset and user-defined animations
- Custom side-effects such as chat announcements or sounds
- Grouping, which allows multiple displays to be positioned and configured at the same time
- CPU optimizations such as conditional loading/unloading of displays, modularity, and prevention of full aura scanning
- Powerful customization options, such as animation paths, on-show/on-hide code, and custom triggers, for Lua-savvy users
To open the options window, type "/wa" or "/weakauras"

- 1.4.0 is released! Many new features were added, including:
- Auto-cloning: a feature available for multi-target, group, and full-scan Auras that will automatically duplicate your display to show multiple sources of information
- Dynamic Text options for Progress Bar and Icon displays
- A Circular growth option for Dynamic Group displays
- Specific Unit options for all triggers that use a Unit option - this allows you to watch only a specific group member, or use the boss1, boss2, etc. unit IDs to watch bosses

I know is weak auras causing the problem, because I disable it with my monk and try the raid, and the lag disappear. However I love this addon, I could not play with my hunter without it. But I need a solution, please help me

Sralok Jan 11, 2013 at 15:07 UTC - 0 likesMy WeakAuras broke, it strangely won't expand anymore after I minimized it.. looks like this [ http://i.imgur.com/IeKT3.jpg ] when I try to expand its options panel. Tried deleting/reinstalling it and disabled everything else, still won't expand.
Any ideas?

Kathell Jan 08, 2013 at 21:09 UTC - 0 likesI've got a very strange problem. Everytime i engage in massive combat, my fps drastically drops and tooltip moves to the middle top of my screen while using Weak Auras, but that doesn't happen to Power Auras. Anyone else seen this?
I don't know if its related to my auras. Need more testing. I have a few traking auras and another ones that scans tooltips for stuns, slows, roots on me and my target. All i wanted besides normal traking is traking my target control and my self control (ie: show how many seconds my target is slowed for any spell that causes slow)

hexiaqt Jan 03, 2013 at 07:22 UTC - 0 likesI posted a ticket about how my WeakAuras took a huge dump after I changed something within a group. Now no matter what version of Weak Auras or how many clean installs I do of Weak Auras, the same problem is still there. How is that even possible?

angrysteel Dec 25, 2012 at 01:33 UTC - 0 likesAll the strata issues are working great for me since r288.
The only part that might confuse people, is the highest priority spell needs to be at the very bottom of the group, and the lowest priority goes at the top. Generally you would think the highest priority would be at the top of the list (group), and work its way down to the lowest.
It works perfectly fine tho, as long as you are going bottom to top for the priority ordering.

Cynthesis112 Dec 10, 2012 at 22:52 UTC - 0 likesSounds appear to only be playing through the Sound Effect channel. If i mute the sound channel but leave master/ambiance/music up and then set my WA to any of those, I receive no sound.
Was hoping to be able to turn down combat sounds while having weakauras louder over them.
