TooltipWealth

TooltipWealth (originally TinyTipWealth) is an Ace3 module that lets you sneakily inspect how much gold your mouseover target has made so far using the Achievement API.

Features

Display most gold ever owned (default)
Display total gold acquired - may be used to indicate the economic prowess of a character, but is usually wildly inflated for the wealth owned by auction house players as they tend to have very high income and expenditure.
Display average gold earned by day
Disable for opposite faction
Disable when in combat
Disable when not in major city
Show wealth as coins or plain text (e.g. 1g 10s)
Currently tested with: TinyTip, TipTac, TipTop, CowTip, normal game tooltip

It's not working?

Try mouseovering your target carefully. If you quickly move your cursor over a bunch of people, the addon can only query the first person you've mouseovered; due to the limitation of Blizzard's API and the server's generally slow response time, by the time we've got the wealth results back from the server your cursor is likely already on a different person, so ToolTipWealth will have to discard the data.

Oops, sorry! I hadn't intended to commit the SVN revision with all the debug printing stuff, since I was just testing to see if achievement requests were still getting badly throttled. You should be able to downgrade the old v0.2 beta (http://www.wowace.com/addons/tinytip-wealth/files/29-v0-2-bump/) and have it still work.

Getting lots of spam about "request achievement comparison" and other stuff every time the cursor its over a player. Not getting any error.

Got out of a pretty darn long WoW hiatus, I think this project is stable enough for a final release now. (And a proper name, too!) :)

Just replied to you on WI. Like i said I apologize, but I really did start out writing this as a TinyTip module, only to learn a few hours later that it's really easy to have it working with other mods. (At r2 i was still using TinyTip's API, then at r3 I learnt i could use Ace3, then at r9 i learnt the mod actually already works with other addons :P)

But I do agree, I'm planning to deprecate the Wowace project once it gets approved here since I can't rename project slugs.

The name "TinyTipWealth" implies its either made or sanctioned by the TinyTip author (Thrae) or its maintainers. Which it is not.

Looks like you are trying to capitalize on the success/name of a known mod to promote your own. Not good. Would be OK if you took the "TinyTip" out of the name.
