Talented

65 - WoW locks up when opening glyph frame.

1. Hit 'n' to open the talented window.
2. Click the "Glyphs" button.

This should open the glyphs window. Instead, WoW locks up completely. It never crashes or exits, but it never displays a new frame/responds to any more input.

> What version of Talented are you using? what version of the Wow client are you using?
Talented 2.4.1-beta1, WoW 3.2.0 for OS X. (Will test on my Windows version and update when I get home.)

> Do you have an error log of what happened?
Wow produces no error log for this bug.

> Make sure to include your character's class and locale if your issue is related to Talented disabling itself.
At least two others have reported this problem in the curse.com comments section. Also, I just had WoW freeze in the same way when I tried to click the "Glyph frame policy on spec swap" dropdown. I've never had any other bug produce this type of lockup.

    If you use Talented from the Subversion repository, you need to copy the directory Talented/GlyphFrame to Talented_GlyphFrame (directly under the Addons directory). It doesn't have its own repo. It took me awhile to figure this out.

    Thanks for fixing that/explaining.

    I several profiles and pretty tightly control my addon sets, but I hadn't noticed that there was another module as part of Talented and didn't have it in the set. I wonder what else I'm missing...

    Talented-v2.4.1 will report an error but not lock the client if Talented_GlyphFrame cannot be loaded.

    Talented_GlyphFrame must be enabled for Talented to work.

    Right now, the code will effectively loop (and hang the client) if Talented_GlyphFrame is not enabled. I'm going to fix that for 2.4.1-release, but do not try to disable Talented_GlyphFrame.

    I am unable to reproduce this issue.

    Could you try with only Talented v2.4.1 as an addon and see if it's still occur ?

    Please try with just Talented and Talented_Loader v2.1 also to see if it has an effect (I suspect not).
