sRaidFrames

sRaidFrames was originally designed to replace the raid frames provided by CT_RaidAssist. They share the same look and feel of the original frames, but are highly optimized and even include extra features such as aggro highlighting and display of PVE critical abilities. The main goal of sRaidFrames is to be just that, frames, nothing more; they do not deliver any other magic that you might know from CT_RaidAssist. This includes Decursing, Bossmods, Raid Status and Emergency Monitor. By not including these features, sRaidFrames will allow anyone the freedom to use whatever mod, if any, they prefer to do the above tasks. Currently the frames provide a massive improvement in not only memory, but also FPS during raids, combined with oRA2 they are designed to help anyone completely replace CT_RaidAssist. There is also a number of plugins that extend sRaidFrames' functionality:
  • sRaidFrames_Advanced - this adds custom layouts, advanced filtering and much more Please note this project is no-longer actively maintained, if anyone wants to take over, please don't hesitate get in touch.

    @tomsommer: did you notice the slight change to LibResComm's ResEnd callback? It shouldn't break anything, but if you need to properly clear caster data, it may help.

    Hello - I've managed to add basic pet unit frames support to sRaidFrames. It's basically an updated version of this patch: http://www.pcgod.org/srf-petsupport.diff (that's pre-dk and will not work as is). I do not know who did the original work.

    To use download this file linked below, unzip & replace your original sRaidFrames mod folder with this. Pet support is implemented in the original default groups. However there is no interface option to add them to an existing group. The best way I've found is to start with the default 'Groups' template and modify everything except the pets group. The mod reinitialize the three base groups to a fixed default so you can reload & repeat if you have multiple groups you want to do. I realize that's something of a bad hack - but I don't have the time & expertise to fix that right now. I thought it better to get this posted now.

    Thanks for updating this add on. I used to use CTRA but i must say this is much easer to use from a shaman healing view. One little thing i would like to see is role marks for all or tanks only. From what iv seen only the Default ui raid frames have such a thing. Iv joined many random raids and never been able to see the tanks very well and with them leaving and new ones joining every fight its hard to /focus them all for Es.

    Thanks for keeping this amazing add on alive all the best Qub

    Thank you for the update. I've never seen comfortable raid frames except sraidframe last 4 years. I hope that it show cooldownmodel on buffs and debuffs instead of count numbers, because the number is hard to see. when I cast lifebloom, I have to check stack and time but it's not possible to show kind of two numbers on one icon

    Thank you for the updates gentlemen. Even after 5 years I still return to these frames after trying others. Great flexibility with an easy to use config seems to make these a unique package. Thanks again for your time.

    I committed the fix from rawillkill, untested. Enjoy :)

    Whoever fixed this mod can they also incorporate the fix for reloading ui that rawillkill mentioned below? I tested these frames tonight in raid and the fix uploaded for general brokenness (r748) worked, as well as a the manual edit by rawillkill working for the reload ui bug. Also can we get this updated on curse's site, or is the owner long gone now?

    I fixed this addons /reloadui problems.

    In the

    function sRaidFrames:CreateFrames() local neededGroups = #self:GetCurrentGroupSetup() local createdGroups = #self.groupframes for i = createdGroups+1, neededGroups do self:CreateGroupFrame(i) end self:SetPosition() self:SetGrowth() self:SetGroupFilters() end

    setGrowth() needs to be before SetGroupFilters() otherwise it gets all messed up like the ticket says.
