Please provide any additional information below.
This issue has nothing to do with other addons, I made sure. However I edited my skg.lua file in the wtf folder, and found the cause was a somehow created nil list. Ie
" [""] = {"
under every location where it shows the lists (ie snapshot, RollLists, Lastmod, etc). Also the last history was:
["Log"] = {
[""] = {
["200906250018080000000000"] = {
["nlHash"] = 0,
["token"] = "SYNSS",
["payload"] = 0,
},
},
Removing anything like that fixes my end. However it keeps syncing automatically with everyones and breaks again. I have no clue how to end this loop, cause even telling guild members to remove the file in the wtf folder some dont and it breaks again. Only two atm in the guild have the admin rights (guild leader and myself), used to be about 5 people who had the rights. Its like deleting lists, somehow it just keeps coming back (another annoying issue ive had, but meh). Right now, I cant use SKG cause of this problem (I am loot master coordinator for my guild), and have no clue how to stop this broken cycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the list everyone who didnt delete their skg addon settings (ie lists and whatnot) have:
| Name | Size | MD5 |
|---|---|---|
| SKG_2_.lua | 249.4 KiB | 00d16bccf6f31d31fad61cbae21e8f9d |

Omnishinzui Sat, 18 Jul 2009 03:20:22Just a small update:
The cycle seems to have ended, I think I saved the lists from my end. I told everyone in the guild to turn off the addon and delete their skg.lua in the wtf folder. Then a few days later I told them to turn it on and sync with me and it seems to have done the trick. Hopefully you find what caused it, to have it happen again would be a nightmare.
Besides this problem and the duplication of names (id highlight the name in a list and, twice now but same username that was copied, it replaced a member or two's names with the same one after scrolling down), been working great for my guild when doing our 10man runs.

Zhinjio Fri, 17 Jul 2009 01:05:45I recently fixed someone else's file who was also having this problem. I agree that its an issue that requires some care to fix, but you're going about it the right way. You are correct that every person who has the "broken" lua file either needs to start fresh (and sync from the person who has fixed their file), or fix their file.
I need to look very carefully at the code to determine how this is happening, because it shouldn't be possible.
Thanks for the report.
