39 - More bidding options
What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel? The bidding option i feel there should be more options instead of just the open close bids i was wondering if it was possible to have
Open bids main spec,
Open bids off spec,
and also a guild anouncement to who receives what loot would also be nice
Please provide any additional information below.
I think bye been able to open close bids for main and offspec will mean that we wont have to deal with deleting loot from the panel ect when it goes to offspec and also will continue on the encouragement to bid on items that are an upgrade not just due to them been purple ect

Zanthor Mon, 17 Aug 2009 07:37:00I think being able to link lists together would allow a great way to automate this without being too rigid or demanding anyone use the feature.
Add a feature to a list to "link" it to another list. If a list is "linked" and an item is closed without a bid, the list "progresses" to the linked list and the bid automatically reopened.
This would allow bidding to the Nth tier AND allow multiple lists to fall through to single offspec lists. (My guild for example maintains an epic list, a set list, and an offspec list (but not separate offspec lists) and the final "toy" list before disenchant.)

Here's a scenario that can be confusing:
-Select "Main Spec" list
-Open bid for item X
-No one bids.... switch list to "Off Spec"
-People bid
-Close Bid.
Right now, the "Main Spec" list is still being used, and the winner is suicided on that list... it would be nice that when the list is switched, THAT is the list that is used when people bid.
In order to get around this, I have to do the following:
Close Bid (item gets removed from list)
Close Loot and SKG Window
Loot and open SKG window (item is back in list)
Switch list to "Off Spec"
reopen bid
It's a workaround at best.
