The purpose of this mod is to help selling items in an easier way than just clicking all of them in the merchant.
How to use it
As simple as going near a merchant and opening his/her trade window, then you can click on the sell button (money icon). By default the addon only sells junk items (poor quality items).
Options
- Auto sell: Allows the addon to automatically sell the items as soon as you open the merchant window, usefull if you want to sell your items fast.
- Preview: The addon will show a confirmation box and the items that would be sold so you can check the items before selling them.
- Information type: Controls the amount of information the addon will output in the chat frame. You can choose full or lite.
Modules
The addon has several modules that can be activated or deactivated to fit your needs. This can be done from the addon's list in the character selection screen. By default all modules are disabled.
- SellOMatic_Item: This module helps you sell items based on its quality and item level.
- More info here.
- SellOMatic_List: This module helps you sell or save items using sell and save lists.
- More info here.
- SellOMatic_Destroy: This module helps you destroy junk items.
- More info here.
- SellOMatic_Class: This module helps you sell BoP items you can't use.
- More info here.
You can have any combination of them activated, from none to all.

Silmano May 04, 2012 at 06:22 UTC - 0 likesThanks for the feedback. I've created tickets #22 and #23 to track both problems and try to fix them.
If you could also provide the options/modules enabled to be able to fix the first issue, it would be easier for me to find the problem.

RushJet1 May 04, 2012 at 04:34 UTC - 0 likesAnother thing I've noticed - it doesn't really count repeat items when calculating its "total gold earned" value from what I've seen- it constantly says 110g but I make something more like 170-230g with each sale, depending.

RushJet1 May 04, 2012 at 04:28 UTC - 0 likesGotta say, I was excited about trying this out. However, it seems to blindly sell things based on name instead of by item level. I'm making a lot of Jasper Rings, and when you make them, it occasionally makes blue rings with a higher ilvl. I want to keep the blues and vendor the greens. Unfortunately if I try using this program, set it to sell BOE greens at ilvl285, and click "sell," the preview pane shows me all the greens and no blues. Nice. Then I say "OK" and it sells any blues in my inventory with the same name as the greens being sold. This is troubling because if I'm selling more than 12 items, I can't buy back the actually valuable ones (like the first time I tried the addon where it sold a few of them at once). Hope this can be fixed...

Silmano Feb 10, 2011 at 10:06 UTC - 0 likes@Novasolan: Do you mean selling greys and items in the sell list or just sell items in the sell list even if there is no grey item in it?

Novasolan Feb 10, 2011 at 04:12 UTC - 0 likesWould be great to have the option to only sell based on the sell list and not have to bother with a save list. When I first got this new version I accidentally sold a ton of valuable mats and had to get a GM restore :(

Vacendik Jan 10, 2011 at 19:40 UTC - 0 likesI'm curious if there will be an option to disable the class selling feature. While I'm ok with it on non-enchanting characters, my chanter would like to keep his soulbound items until he DE's them. A check box to turn it off would be perfect, then I just make a chanter profile.
Unless there is a way to do this now that I'm not aware of.
EDIT: Got the reply in Curse. Ahh good call. I didn't realize that different module meant different checkbox in addons. I'll do that now.

Silmano Dec 30, 2010 at 11:15 UTC - 0 likesOne module at a time... :P
I'm currently finishing the class proficiencies module, to be able to automatically sell (if enabled) the soulbound items that your current char can't wear, for example a mail armor for a mage.

oushies Dec 23, 2010 at 13:35 UTC - 0 likesThe main purpose is, I believe, to lower system load caused by loading multiple instances of the same library embedded into different addons.
Also, some libraries are updated more frequently than addons that use them and provide fresh data, which is useful now, when the new expansion hit and many things aren't implemented into the libraries yet, so they get frequent updates.
But this second case probably does not affect S-o-M.
