SavedInstances

132 - Farm Crops Count

What version of SavedInstances are you using?
5.6.4

What Locale of the Wow Client are you running? (eg enUS for American English)
enUS

Are you using SavedInstances with a Data Broker display? If so, what is the name and version of the display addon?
No data broker display being used.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log on to a character a few minutes before the weekly reset.
2. Right after the weekly (and daily quest) reset, start to harvest crops and plant a new batch.
3. Check farm crops count.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Farm crops count should be 16/16 after planting a new batch.  Mine would show 32/32 on the very first toon that would harvest and plant a new batch.  The rest of the toons will show the normal 16/16.

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No.

Are you disembedding your addons and addon libraries?
No.

Please provide any additional information below.
Server is US-Elune, Timezone is Eastern.  Dailies would reset at 6am server time.  I am usually online on a toon at 5am and proceed to the farm as soon as the daily quests has reset.  After harvesting the crops and planting a new batch, the farm crops count would show 32/32.  This only happens on one character, the very first one who tends the farm.  The rest of the characters are not affected.

    Should be fixed in r321

    Please also target a crop once it's planted and do:

    /run print(date("%c",(select(7,UnitAura("target",1))-GetTime())+time()))

    Ok something is weird here. Are you on Eastern US Daylight Savings (EDT) time (ie -5/-4 GMT)?

    Because if so, I suspect your computer's clock setting is wrong - either the timezone or the AM/PM setting is incorrect (ie in the windows/mac operating system). You should definitely fix that on your end, although it doesn't necessarily explain the misbehavior.

    These are the values that I got after running the commands.

    /run print(date("%c",SavedInstances:GetNextDailySkillResetTime())) Thu June 13, 18:00:05 2013

    /run print(SavedInstances:GetServerOffset()) -12

    Please post the results of these commands:

    /run print(date("%c",SavedInstances:GetNextDailySkillResetTime()))
    /run print(SavedInstances:GetServerOffset())

    Also next time please note the exact server time when you see your crops available for harvest. If for some reason they're coming available a few seconds before the actual reset occurs and you harvest before the reset, that might be causing the issue.
