Rarity

56 - Not counting attempts if dead

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have died a few times during world boss fights and stayed dead when the boss dies. The addon then fails to count the death of the boss as an attempt, nor does it count the bonus roll attempt done while being dead.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using?

Do you have an error log of what happened?

r224 alpha contains functionality which should detect attempts on raid bosses which are tied to a Statistic, even if you dropped combat mid-kill, or are dead when the kill occurs. This should work for all raid bosses from the Cataclysm expansion and forward, including world bosses. I haven't tested it. Do you think you could test it before I push this out to the public?

This is happening because Rarity only scans your statistics when you go from in combat to out of combat. In raid zones, generally players stay in combat when dead. But for world bosses, I guess that isn't the case. I'll have to think about a possible solution to this. I may have to just continuously scan your statistics forever, but this would have a performance penalty.
