Rarity

53 - Showing source in the LDB tooltips

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

The LDB tooltip shows, for example,"Drops by NPC(s)", but doesn't show the name of the NPC(s), unlike "Drops from any mobs in a zone" that also list the name of the zone.

I have added a lot of items to track for the achievement "Going To Need A Bigger Bag", but I keep forgetting the name of the NPC some of the items drops from, so I think this would be a great enhancement to your addon, if it is possible to implement.

Please provide any additional information below.

I really love this addon! :)

Rarity now shows you if something it tracks can be obtained from the mob you're looking at! I still can't put this in the Rarity feed itself, but you can now see it in the mob tooltips.

Check out the addon Collectinator for all of those features. I intentionally didn't include any of this in Rarity because it means maintaining a huge database of localized names, and Collectinator already does it. (Not sure how up to date that addon is though.) There is no way to get the NPC name from the WoW API, and Rarity only stores NPC IDs in order to work in every language.

    I got the same problem.

A little icon at the nameplate or in the tooltip would be a nice help.
You could see very fast, wether you need to kill the mob or not.
