272 - databroker "bug"
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. have databroker display addon like Fortress (http://www.wowace.com/addons/fortress/)
2. also have AddonLoader (http://www.wowace.com/addons/addon-loader/)
3. start the game
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the databroker "display" (for example on Fortress its a block) spawns until RBS its loaded when you enter a party/raid/dungeon/BG.
What version of the product are you using?
RBS: v3.269-beta-nolib
AddonLoader: r110-release
Fortress: 1.14-nolib
Do you have an error log of what happened?
no error, just the blank space until you enter a group, then works as it should
Please provide any additional information below.
It did work until latest 2 or 3 patches.

oscarucb Oct 16, 2010 at 21:15 UTC - 0 likesI don't consider this a bug - every dynamically-loaded addon with LDB support I've tried behaves exactly the same way.. Specifically, the LDB icon is not registered and displayed until AddonLoader decides to load it - ie the icon is not displayed because the addon is not in memory. The reason it didn't do this until recently is that previously it wasn't dynamically loaded.
If you really want the icon there all the time, just turn off dynamic loading - open your AddonLoader configuration and set the RBS load parameters to something like:
## X-LoadOn-Always: delayed

If you cant change it to show all the time no problem I rather have it use less resources at the end (main part of having AddonLoader) and I'll test the rezing asap when I get into something, sry had to format the computer this weekend
