262 - Enhancement -- Filter by player level
In addition to checking player class, talents, and roles, could you add checks for player level?
This would immediately expand the usefulness of this add-on to cover leveling instance groups, and lower level raids. Just like it would be pointless to pester a level 45 protection paladin without the Ardent Defender talent, it's just as pointless if a player is too low level to learn a trainable buff as well. I'm assuming you can't actually check a group/raid member's spell book, but at least filtering out players that are too low to even learn a spell would be great!
A bit beyond the scope of an add-on called RaidBuffStatus? Sure... but it would be awesome. I love your add-on, and I'd love to be able to use it for my non-80 toons.

danielbarron Jun 06, 2010 at 21:06 UTC - 0 likesThank you for the suggestion however it has to cope with so many combinations already that to consider level as well would be too much. It is for level 80 raiding and the fact it works in any other situation is just good luck. Sorry.
