16 - Gnomish/Goblin Engineering Recipes shown as learnable (green)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log in
2. Make an AH search for Engineering recipes
What is the expected output?
I expect to see only the learnable recipes marked green and learnable.
What do you see instead?
With my Gnomish engineer I see the Goblin engineering recipes marked as learnable and green.
With my Goblin engineer I see the Gnomish engineering recipes marked as learnable and green.
What version of the product are you using?
2.0 beta 3
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No

Until now I only checked the AH search with 20 chars. The color code seems to be working as it should. I still have to check AtlasLoot Crafting and vendors. Probably the enchanting formulas are going to be a bit buggy, but this is just a personal guess. I will let you know asap.

According to wowhead all profession spec requirements on recipe items have been removed except for these three:
gnomish engineer: 18661 Schematic: World Enlarger 18654 Schematic: Gnomish Alarm-o-Bot goblin engineer: 18653 Schematic: Goblin Jumper Cables XL
Not yet sure how to best handle these..

oscarucb Nov 13, 2010 at 02:32 UTC - 0 likesYes, currently "learnability" only takes into account profession skill level and whether or not you know the pattern. It ignores secondary criteria such as race restrictions, trade specialization, reputation requirements, etc. I'll think about adding these but not sure if I can do it efficiently.
By the way, depending on how you set your tooltip settings it should be sufficient to view the AH from a single character, once you've scanned the professions of all your toons.
