Zidomo May 23, 2011 at 06:41 UTC - 0 likesTracking trade cooldowns requires using CPU time; all mods I've tested that track them use some. Unlike ProfessonsVault at this time, which uses 0 CPU on idle.
As there are at least two working, decent LDB trade cooldown tracking mods out there (the aformentioned Broker_TradeCooldowns as well as Ara Broker Tradeskills), I vote to not add it. Or if you ever decide to add it, have it in a seperate LOD module that can be completely disabled for those not wanting to track cooldowns (in an ACP raid mod set, for instance).

I personally run Broker_TradeCooldowns alongside ProfessionsVault and the two complement each other nicely, so I don't really see much point in re-creating all the functionality of Broker_TradeCooldowns within this addon. The only thing I'd probably fix is the cooldown detection of Broker_TradeCooldowns is pretty kludgy and could be made smarter, but I should probably just contribute some improvements to that project :)
I'll leave this open for now and see how many votes it gets.

Freydis88 Nov 08, 2010 at 20:37 UTC - 0 likesMaybe you could sort off implement the existing Ace3 addon Broker_TradeCooldowns.
Just a thaught, because Zhinjio's addon runs perfectly already, and also is customizable in various ways.
