79 - ChatTabs - additional chatframes create bug on logon with fewer channels
What is the issue?:
If 2 characters use the same profile one of them can experience a bug with a chatframe appearing inside the chatbox. This happens if one of the characters have more chatframes than the other and the ChatTabs module and settings are being used to always show frameheaders.
Please provide any additional information below.:
A quick fix is to create the same amount of chatframes on both characters then create new profiles for each of them and removing the unused chatframes afterwards.
Although it is always a clever idea to use different profiles for different toons I didn't really give much thought into it since I have a bunch of alts that use the exact same settings (but the number of channels vary depending on class). From now on I will always use individual profiles but people new to Prat might not be aware of this so if there is a way to force Prat to check those settings and make sure it doesn't bug out it would be really great.

Blazeflack Thu, 19 Feb 2009 05:49:41ChatTabs still has trouble when it comes to removal of tabs. Like before, if you have set a tab to always be shown with ChatTabs it won't get removed if you right click it and press "remove window". It's not a big deal really, just a minor annoyance.

Blazeflack Sun, 25 Jan 2009 17:54:08Oh btw. I just noticed that with the latest release if you remove a chattab it won't get removed if you have ChatTabs module set to always show it. You have to go into Prat and uncheck that channel in order to remove it. Is it possible to make Prat respect chattab removal? :)

Blazeflack Sun, 25 Jan 2009 04:15:43It would appear latest alpha fixed it yes. There were never any errors given, just an extra chattab inside the chatframe. This no longer happens if you start using a profile that had more channels than your current toon has.
