Prat 3.0

211 - Combat Log Cover Chat Window after Relog

What is the issue?

Combat Log covers Chat Window after relog. Chat windows are located LeftBottom, Combat Log is located RightBottom on my toons.
After relog the Combat Log and Chat windows would all be LeftBottom. And of course I could not just pick the Combat Log and move it... Would always have to move all the Chat tabs individually out of the way to grab the Combat Log. Irritating in the extreme after a few times

Used Curse v4 Client to update Prat

Current version 3.3.6

This started happening after I started back playing WoW after 3 months. AND only for a while on 1 toon.
Was really getting irritated having to manually move the windows around, every time I /rl'ed or logged.

Ended up removing Prat through the Curse v4 Client, getting rid of saved variables and running WoW that way, going through all my toons. It still had my chat windows covered by the Combat Log.

Reinstalled Prat, no change, even though I had curse client supposedly remove save variables.

FIX
*********
There happens to be a file in "\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\AccountName\ServerName\CharacterName\" folder called " chat-cache.txt " that has the data that was being used. But not being rewritten after saving to a new profile or removing the data when "removing saved variables".

Used copy of that file, on a toon that was not messing up, as a model and copy-pasted through the rest of my toons. Seems to have solved my issue so far.

That file is written over on character closure by the way. So do not understand why it kept being wrong... the joys of modern computing.
