Prat 3.0

163 - Wish List - Auto Respond to whispers

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

I'd like to see an auto reply module added, something akin to DBM's boss reply, or AreYouTalkingToMe (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/areyoutalkingtome.aspx).  Ideally, I'd like to see the following features:

- Ability to auto-replay based on being in an instance (options for enabling/disabling reply in 5 mans or raids, if you only want to auto reply when you're raiding, and not when you're farming heroics).  Optionally disable auto-reply during boss fights, or if DBM is detected, or the option to replace the DBM functionality.
- Auto reply based on being in a bg or arena fight.
- Auto reply based on being in combat or not.
- Ability to auto-reply to custom filters.  "can i have a port" "Sorry I only have sherry."  Regex or something along those lines could be used.  Automatic Goblin Therapist (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9780-AGT-AutomaticGoblinTherapist.html) sort of does this, but I don't believe it uses regexs.
- Exceptions for friends, guild, or manually added persons.  Optional of course.
- Blocking/hiding of auto replies.
- Temporary ignore (like report for spam, but not really reporting them).  You could even go one step further and put it in a new right click menu "Report as stupid" to send it to the temp ignore list.  XD

I know you have a lot of things to do, and I appreciate you taking the time to look into this feature request and even respond to it. Just one more reason I love Prat more than other Chat addons. XD

I know customfilters already lets you forward a filter result into another channel. I guess its not a great leap to add this feature.
