22 - Auras use Layout settings, but optional per Frame
I'm sure I'm not the only person who uses another addon to display my own buffs and debuffs in a fashion separate from the player unitframe (ElkBuffBars, in my case).
Aura settings should be configured in each Layout, but each Frame should have the option to hide its Auras. This would allow us to easily configure the display of Auras for all of our unitframes, but have the option of managing them solely through other addons for particular Frames of our choosing.

jokeyrhyme Sat, 28 Feb 2009 22:34:10Yeah, at the time I filed this ticket, this seemed like it would be super convenient. I'm no longer convinced this is "must have". Especially given how easy it is to just create a new layout for certain units.

Shefki Thu, 29 Jan 2009 08:17:40There's no way right now for me to add options for specific units. I can only do global configurations and layout configs.
I misunderstood what you wanted. You can certainly alter aura information per layout and just use a different layout for each frame you want the aura configuration to be different on.

Had a look at some commits today and couldn't see a checkbox for individual frames to honor the Layout's Aura settings or not.
