Overhead at this stage is a very simple nameplate addon. Its purpose is provide additional behaviors inside ARENA ONLY. It does two things:
- Hides non-player nameplates in arena (totems, pets, mirror images, etc) and Note: The nameplates aren’t actually hidden, just the art is so you’ll still see them shuffle around if they’re clustered
- Displays castbars on all enemy nameplates regardless of target selection.

Shigeki Mon, 02 Nov 2009 19:28:29Thanks so much for this and spellalerter addons! Awesome job, helps me manage multitasking role as Enh shammy in arenas. However similiar to Mezoh I have same reuqest if possible; is there a chance you can either allow users to check/uncheck showing nameplates for totems and pets or help me find in code how I could turn it off? Don't want to use 2MB weight addons just to be able for a fast switch on Water Elemental, Mana Tide or even hunters FD (their bar drops during FD as well).
Thanks in advance.
Once again, thank you for this addon, as previous one great job and never colliding with any other I'm using so real pleasure to use it.

mezoh Tue, 06 Oct 2009 23:47:34First off I'd like to thank you very much for this addon as it made my life as a warlock in arena much easier.
Any chance you could split the addon into 2 different addons? I'm mainly looking for an addon that does ONE thing and ONE thing alone: displays in arena cast bars under every enemy nameplate not just the ones I target.
Due to the recent change to how totems work, and how I now manually have to kill them, I'm pretty much forced to use Aloft for my nameplates, because I can make the tremor and grounding totem nameplates stand out. If I could also use the part of your addon in addition to Aloft so that I can view the cast bars under each nameplate it would be great!
Any chance you can help me out? Thanks in advance, Soh

kollektiv Sat, 15 Aug 2009 08:00:17Hi, I updated it for 3.2. It still uses the old yellow castbar border instead of the new silver shield one.
