102 - Masque is not saving skin settings with Ghost Pulse3
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set ghost pulse skin to any skin
2. will work fine initialy, but upon log out and log back in the setting is not working
3. go into masque addon ghost pulse and set to another skin then back to skin that you want and it works again, but has same issue upon log out/log in
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
same skin every time for ghost pulse. other addons are keeping skins fine e.g. bartender 4 ghost pulse is the only thing having an issue
What version of the product are you using?
latest version of masque
Do you have an error log of what happened?
it does not create an error log

StormFX Oct 08, 2011 at 06:14 UTC - 0 likesWell, after playing with a bit, I'm pretty sure that GP needs to call Group:ReSkin() after it updates. The problem is that it's adjusting the size of some things and overwriting what Masque has done.

StormFX Sep 15, 2011 at 02:42 UTC - 0 likesYou'll probably have to wait until Ghost Pulse is updated to be compatible with Masque. It may be using some deprecated method or something that's causing the issue. I can't even get GP to not spam errors, so it's not worth my time to try check the code to see what the problem is because I'd first have to go through and fix all the errors.

chrisgriffith25 Sep 15, 2011 at 02:06 UTC - 0 likesI tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Here is a screenshot of what I'm seeing upon log-in. As you can see the shadow button skin is there, but the addon is not being properly skinned. If I open masque and click on shadow again, the skin is fixed. Any guidance? Thanks for all the hard work.

StormFX Sep 13, 2011 at 23:17 UTC - 0 likesThe saving is working fine for me. That's with the GP3 beta. But of course, it's not updated to the new API. I'd wait until GP is updated. He may not know that there's a beta of Masque since I only upload releases there.
