Status
As you probably noticed, I, Ulic, have been MIA for a while now. I haven't actively played WoW in months and as of now I don't plan to. I have enjoyed the time I spent working on LittleWigs and I still think BigWigs is the best boss mod in town. Thank you for all your support and help over the years.
The repositories for all my addons are open and anyone can commit changes to them and those changes are instantly available as alpha releases. If there is an interested party that wants to maintain actual release please contact me (ulic75 at gmail dot com) and I'll see about getting you access or ownership of the project.
Description
To put it simply, these are BigWigs modules that add some warnings to the bosses found in 5-man instances. This is a Third Party addon, and not officially developed by the BigWigs team.
Usage
Drop this folder into the Addons folder like any other addon. It automatically integrates with BigWigs. Should you desire not to see some of the modules in the menu because you feel you don't want them, just delete the corresponding bosses .lua file or the entire zone folder.
Additional Requirements
BigWigs Bossmods r8352 or later
Wrath of the Lich King
If you are looking for the Wrath of the Lich King LittleWigs modules they can be found on Curse under LittleWigs: Lich King
The Burning Crusade
If you are looking for the original LittleWigs modules they can be found on Curse under LittleWigs: The Burning Crusade
Contributing
If you would like to contribute you can do it in a few ways.
- Download and install Transcriptor, activate it when you start the boss fight and turn it off when you're done. It will log all the necessary messages for creating new warnings. Note: Not EVERYTHING can be warned, for example the mushrooms during Hungarfen in Underbog.
- Write & Test the module yourself then send to me to include
- Report any problems, inaccuracies, or suggestions you have with a module to the wowace forum post.

Probably lots of stuff. I've barely played since the patch came out. And I'm not sure if or when I will again. The project however is open for anyone to update and several in the community has been. If it seems like it's in a good place I'd be happy to tag a release or if someone wants to be added an author I'd be okay with that too.

SentriX501 Dec 31, 2011 at 07:48 UTC - 0 likesHello,
First let me thank you for keeping this semi-updated. It's a real pleasure for us Bigwigs users not to have to rely on getting DBM in 5 man heroics and such. I was wondering what kind of work still needed doing. I realise that this release is an alpha and should be treated as such. From my (very) limited use of the addon I can tell that the mannoroth and varo'then module is a little empty. Fel Fire timers and such would be good here possibly. On Peroth'am a target identifier for Fel flame, the standing in fire ring thing?
Like I said, I realise this is an alpha but I would like to help in some way. Happy Holidays.

Sorry, I didn't post a comment, but fixed up the LK modules early last month.

gamingfossil Sep 01, 2011 at 04:51 UTC - 0 likesI didn't get all of them because of "too many dungeons recently" limits... and I couldn't determine if multiple "floors" in instance maps (for example, Njorndir Preparation, Tyr's Terrace, etc. in Utgarde Keep) had separate Map Area ID's or not. But here is what I obtained:
The Nexus: 520 The Oculus: 528
Forge of Souls: 601
Pit of Saron: 602
Halls of Reflection: 603
Trial of the Champion: 542
Halls of Stone: 526
Gundrak: 530
Utgarde Keep: 523
Utgarde Pinnacle: 524
Ahn'Kahet: 522
Azjol-Nerub: 533
Hopefully it will help.

LK modules shouldn't be too bad to fix up. I just need the map ID's. Zone into any instance and type "/print GetCurrentMapAreaID()" into your chat window and give me list of the numbers and names. I'll try to collect them myself as I have time.
The BC modules however have more wrong than just that and will require a lot more work.

gamingfossil Jul 31, 2011 at 22:07 UTC - 0 likesI wish I knew how to write the script language, I would be glad to help out myself.
If anyone ever does get the time, I signed on today and was deluged with "LittleWigs_(name of Northrend/Outland dungeon module) is using the old way of registering to load content" or something like that. Unfortunately I am going to have to disable the northrend and outland modules for now.
I've always been very bad at writing script language. I wish now I knew how to do it. I am always happy to try and help people when I can.

Basically I work on them when I'm bored at work, assume I'm not infatuated with some flash game at the moment :) So it's possible, but there is no time table. I'll try to make note of modules I think should be working if any for each. The source is open though, anyone is more than welcome to update them.

joshwill80 Jul 24, 2011 at 21:33 UTC - 0 likesSo as I understand it, the BC and Wrath modules are currently broken right? If that's the case, you might want to include that info on the Curse pages for them.
Any idea if they will be fixed in the future?
