What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install recount, updated to latest release of BossID's
2. Enable the "Track only boss fights" setting
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Recount should generate and save/retain separate encounter logs for both madness and spine. Instead both fights are treated as if they are trash fights, the data is kept in the "current fight" but then scrubed during the next encounter and hence not saved.
What version of the product are you using?
Recount v4.3.0.c // LibBossIDs-1.0 r78
Do you have an error log of what happened?
Please provide any additional information below.
Firstly if this is viewed as a recount issue I apologise, I did notice that Elsia manages both addons so I figured if this is actually a recount issue it would still be seen here. If this ticket is in the wrong place please move/delete/close as you see fit.
Per Elsia's suggestion in the recount wowace forum thread I tried adding "burning tendons" to the Lib, I also then added "Mutated Corruption" which then allowed recount to correctly track both these encounters as Boss fights. I know very little about how this works but I have infered that BossIDs is not correctly detecting the two encounters with the current mob id's used to track them. This however I could not tell if this was actually a recount issue, due to my own lack of understanding.
(both IDs used are for deathwing; in spine he isn't an intractable unit afaik, and well I'm not sure about in madness, I could only infer that the ID given isn't the same as during the second phase of the fight, where deathwing becomes interactive )
Again, I know very little about exactly where this issue is, and it felt like a bit of a hack, having to use trash mobs in order to get this to track the boss fight correctly, but as it worked for me, I thought it appropriate to share this information.
