A Data Broker Source based on the Vengeance buff for all tanking classes. Requires a Broker display add on like ChocolateBar.

LDB-Vengeance displays the current AP value that your Vengeance buff provides. Some display options can be configured using Blizzards addon interface options.

So far there is no colored display.

The only DataBroker I have used thus far is ChocolateBar.

To Dridzt for Vengeance Status - which gave me an initial idea how I could detect the vengeance buff, and how to check for the value

To Shackleford: for LDB-Threat - I had no clue how to write a data source

To jlam for updating the addon for monks, and patching!

    r53 should work with 5.1.

To fix this for 4.0.6, I changed line 186 in LDB-Vengeance.lua to be:

    local healthPerStamina = UnitHPPerStamina("player")

I’m new to writing addons, I usually just patch addons that are buggy / missing something I dearly need.

I was thinking about using some library to scan for the AP buff number, but haven’t found anything convincing yet. LibGratuity-3.0 seems like overkill.

    No worries it's all good.
Good idea checking the spellbook instead of the buffs (that's only change I could find sofar to the "engine")

Could you change the name of your scanning tooltip to something other than "VengeanceStatusScanTip" before you release it please.

That's a global and although I doubt users would run both addons at the same time you never know.

Finally, good luck with the addon it's a good excuse for me to slack a little more...
and work on other addons as vengeance status users were already asking for an LDB feed.
Now I can point them to this one :)

    Regards, Dri

fixed, and sorry for the omission.

I have replaced most of it though (with r14).

It would be nice if you mentioned somewhere in the source at least that you copied my code from Vengeance Status verbatim...

Not a big deal but you know attribution never hurts..
