230 - Glowing Animation for Rend does not display in Berserker Stance
----- What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure InlineAura is set to display a glowing animation for Rend on some condition.
2. Make sure the condition is active.
3. Switch to Berserker Stance.
----- What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is a glowing animation on Rend.
Actual output is Rend darkened out (like any ability that can't be used in the current stance), with no aura information/highlighting.
----- What version of the product are you using?
Inline Aura v1.6.3
----- Do you have an error log of what happened?
No. Not strictly an error.
----- Please provide any additional information below.
Rend still successfully glows in Battle and Defensive Stances.
Edit: Overpower glows in Berserker Stance, which is also an ability that can't be used in said stance, but this appears to be Blizzard default behavior.
The colored border effect shows up for Rend in Berserker Stance (and Battle Stance) successfully.

To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world such would be...

Adirelle Dec 03, 2011 at 10:43 UTC - 0 likesI have added some options to enable glowing animation even on on-cooldown or unusable spells. They are disabled by default to keep consistent with current behavior but you will be able to enable them.

DeusPhasmatis Dec 02, 2011 at 17:12 UTC - 0 likesIt occurred to me to check to see how other effects handle stances. The colored border effect shows up for Rend in both Berserker Stance and Battle Stance successfully.

DeusPhasmatis Dec 02, 2011 at 07:14 UTC - 0 likesSure thing. With all addons (including Inline Aura) disabled:
Overpower still glows, and also in Berserker Stance, so I assume that's Blizzard's doing.
Rend does not glow at all (in any stance, with or without the debuff applied).
Some further testing: it also doesn't show the glowing animation on Hamstring when in Defensive Stance (a stance Hamstring can't be used in). As a guess, maybe the glowing animation code includes a check for the ability being usable in the current stance?
