nyyr Nov 20, 2010 at 17:00 UTC - 0 likesDo you plan to update it for 4.0.1? It's basically just changing the version in the toc file to 40000. The rest works still fine.

Trellmor Dec 23, 2009 at 13:43 UTC - 0 likesWhy bother? The only reason it's a rewrite is because the original code is not open source licensed. If Stonedonkey wants the name back for whatever reason, fine. But as of now I don't really see a reason to change it.
If this gets annoying I'll just kill this project and keep the AddOn for myself.

Zidomo Dec 22, 2009 at 20:27 UTC - 0 likesHave ignored this mod for a while, but as there is an update today, another comment.
Sorry, but unless you have written permission from the original author Stonedonkey to "take over" the original mod, you are still ripping off the name. Ripping it off for your own mod with similar functionality, but different code.
Why not "Incognito (fan update)" or similar?

Trellmor Oct 22, 2009 at 22:36 UTC - 0 likesThe original incognito author stopped developing addons about 2 years ago. It should be fine to call a rewrite of this outdated mod the same for easier finding etc. I thought about naming it incognitoo or incongitwo, but that just sounds wrong.

Zidomo Oct 22, 2009 at 18:59 UTC - 0 likesNice that there is now an updated Ace3 name add mod, in the spirit of Identity.
Not so nice that the name for it is "borrowed"/ripped off from the very popular original Incognito, which still works in Wow 3.x.
Might want to think about choosing a name for this that isn't a ripoff of another mod that provides the same functionality.
