Guild Management Tools - WoW AddOns

Guild Manager will be a complete guild management solution.

Features will include bank and roster management.

This project and "Guild Member" will replace the Guild Management Tools project currently on this site.

Guild Management tools is very early in development. I am creating this forum thread since i am getting requests for support already.

This is partially my fault since i tagged some commits as beta before understanding what that meant in the WoWAce world.

This addon is currently not supported since the released versions don't really do anything (visibly) yet.

This addon will be a tool for organizing and maintaining guilds.

Features will be divided into 4 categories/tabs:

Bank Tools

Guild Log Manager

In game bank contents display

In game bank item request system

Guild bank organizer - sorting tool for the guild bank

Guild Loan Manager

Roster Tools

Event tracking (joins, leaves)

Notes log/change log

Member Tools

Guild Ads. This feature will allow guildies to post ads for materials needed, crafting needed and have the ads propagated to all guild members.

Craft List. Advertise crafts and recipes to guild members

Guild Greetings. Logs guild members coming online or leveling to remind you to greet or gratz them

Guild Map. Display guild members positions on the world map/minimap. (this is a low priority. not even sure why i included it)

Guild Help System. Allow members to post requests for help in game without having to flood guild chat.

Officer Tools

EPGP. Effort Points/Gear Points Manager. This will provide an in-game interface to manage the EPGP system. Will provide export capabilities, or at least a documented API for importing into a website DKP system

Guild Mailing List. Will allow you to send in-game mail to lists of people.

Main/Alt Management. Allow members and officers to set their main and alt characters and share that information across clients.

In game blacklist with reasons. Also tracks departed members and you can note the circustances

Rank manager

Miscellaneous

Chat Time Stamps. Insert current time before messages as they are added in the chat frame.

Guild Lotto. This feature will manage a guild lotto. This is an excellent way of having some fun in the guild while making a little gold for the guild bank as well

Guild Calendar. This feature is planned but is on hold pending an evaluation on integration with recent changes to the in-game calendar.

Guild Alliances Support

Automated Recruitment System. Guild Master will be able to set recruitment messages and rules. Members can then enable recruiting and addon will automatically spam according to guild rules.

I am open to feature requests and anyone who would like to help test in beta. many of the features will require multiple players in guild to be running the addon, so i could use some testers.

There are mods out there that do a number of these functions, im not a programmer, but couldn't you take the code you need or use theirs as a model and output to your mods. Im really interested in the guild bank organizer. I know there are ones for your personal bank and bags, but that does no good in the guild bank. Keep up the good work! We are all rooting for ya!

this is a remarkable initiative and needs a damn lot of work as i can evaluate. Post me if i can help with anything, included testing (just another GM on Ragnaros, EU)

Is this still on hold, or can we download it and use it for testing purposes? I am really excited to try it out.
